The NBWA was founded in 1938 as a trade association for the nation's beer wholesalers. The purpose of NBWA is to provide leadership which enhances the independent malt beverage wholesale industry; to advocate before government and the public on behalf of its members; to encourage the responsible consumption of beer; and to provide programs and services that will enhance members' efficiency and effectiveness.

The Beer Institute

The Beer Editor's Blog

For better or worse, we present the ramblings of Beer Business Daily editor Harry Schuhmacher.

Beer Serves America

The nation's malt beverage producers and wholesalers are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in neighborhoods large and small. Through our charitable contributions, civic and community support, we provide emergency and disaster relief, fund scholarship programs, and sponsor local festivals and entertainment events.  Also, through partnerships with law enforcement and other groups, our industry is helping to achieve steady progress in preventing drunk driving and illegal underage drinking. Our responsibility also extends to protecting the environment through recycling, conservation and preservation programs.

Florida Beer

Beer Industry of Florida, Inc. (BIF) is a trade association of Florida's largest distributors headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida. Its members across the state have product portfolios made up of domestic beers, including Miller and Coors, along with a significant number of imported and craft beers such as Heineken and Guinness.

Since 1945, BIF has advocated for public policies that strengthen Florida's economy. We support the 21st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution by promoting, protecting, and defending the three tier system of alcohol distribution.

We also encourage the responsible consumption of beer and provide information and services to our members to help them effectively abide by all state and federal laws and regulations. The brewing industry alone spends more than $50 billion per year to promote responsible consumption of alcohol.
